CIVIL PROTECTION

Civil protection is the training of a dog to undertake security work, defence of an owner, area or object. This is the origins of the Dobermann but it is not something to enter into lightly. We are currently training some of our dogs as protection dogs and for the fullness of this sight decided to include some pictures of Dobermann in action. Again as stated before we do not recommend that the average owner should train a dog to this level and if you decide you wish to then the most important thing is control. If you can’t get your dog to come when called, to sit to do every normal command correctly EVERYTIME with out fail, then think through how irresponsible it would be to teach that dog to bite. If you have a genuine need to train a dog to this level and want help, support or guidance then by all means contact us and we will do our best to help you find the right support.
