Past, Present and Future.....Where we are, have been and will be based...
 There have been many questions around where we are based and when you read the history of our locations below you will not be surprised.
Due to working in a challenging and international line of business Ralph has relocated for work numerous times over the last decade. However, due to a passion for dogs and the desire to keep progress with the principles of what Lunascura stands for, Ralph has relocated the kennel with him or planned litters for times when he would not be travelling so much and could be at home with them. Since meeting Ninke, she has also been a key part to keeping Lunascura thriving while they both support equally busy family and work lives.

In 2011 we purchased a property with 3 buildings on 7 hectares of land in Abruzzo, Italy. It is our ambition to base ourselves in Italy permanently as a family and therefore the kennel will come too. We will be renovating the property over the next period of time and will keep you informed of the developments as they happen.

Since the birth of their son Airik in Jan 2011 Ralph and Ninke have been spending more time in Holland where Airik was born. Although they are also regularly in Northern Ireland and many of the dogs are still permanently there. Due to being split between the two places more and more they have decided to permanently relocate some of the dogs to Holland especially those that are retired or are actively being shown in Europe. They have also re-established Lunascura under the FCI in addition to the UK Kennel Club and are registering the dogs that will be in Holland more than Northern Ireland to the Dutch Kennel Club. So the kennel is now truly operating out of two locations. As a side note the planned litters for 2012 are currently in Northern Ireland but this may change this later in the year depending on other commitments.
Although work took Ralph around the UK, Southern Ireland and Europe during this period and sometimes for extended periods, his permanent, offical and legal residence always remained to be Northern Ireland, This has and still causes many challenges with the running of the kennel but through effort and expense Ralph and Ninke have managed to make this work with the help of friends and family. During this period Ralph's work sent him to Holland where he met Ninke.
Ralph lived and worked in Malta in 2006 and while there established the Lunascura Kennel name under the FCI. While there the D-Litter were born most of which were cropped and 3 females from this litter were exported back to the UK. Dragon to Wales and Domino and Diva to Northern Ireland.
Ralph was originally living and working in England near Manchester when the kennel was established in 2004. However, due to work commitments Ralph relocated to Malta in 2006 and only returned breifly to rented accomodation in England in 2007 before relocating his base to Northern Ireland the same year.
